Everyone, meet Emilia 👋 A creative star that we’re extremely happy to have in our team!

She is not only a talent when it comes to shooting, editing and standing in front of the camera – she is also a true joy spreader at the office. With her northern accent, good sense of humor and big heart, Emilia is always fun to be around and a colleague to count on.

Hi Emilia! Can you tell us a bit about yourself? 
“My name is Emilia, I’m 22 years old (almost 23) and I work as a Content Creator at Maya Delorez. I was born and raised on a farm up in northern Sweden, but I moved to Uppsala when I was offered my job about a year ago. I also have a little dog and I love to workout! “

What did your path to Maya Delorez look like?
“It all started 2,5 years ago with a photoshoot that I participated in together with Maya Delorez. After that, I stayed in contact with Madelene who is the founder and CEO. One day she published some open positions at the company, and one of them was called Content Creator. I read the description and immediately knew that it was the perfect job for me! So I contacted Madelene and I think we had a meeting the very next day. Only a couple of days later I signed my contract and became a part of Team MD. “

What does a regular working day look like for you as a Content Creator?
“It can look very different! One day you’re away on a content trip and the next day you’ll spend working at home or at the office with editing. In addition to creating content, there’s also a lot of planning that needs to be done for upcoming campaigns, launches etc. So the tasks vary a lot, but that’s also what I like about this job. Not a dull moment! “

What’s the most fun about your job?
”When you’ve been away on a content trip and are on your way back with a lot of material that you know has the potential to be awesome! It makes my fingers itch, haha and I get so excited to edit. And then of course, all of my colleagues who always make me laugh. Sometimes so much that I get exercise pain in my stomach from all the laughter. “

Your best MD memory? 
“That’s difficult to say, we have done so much fun over the past year.

The 3-years campaign we had last spring was very demanding – especially since a large amount of the content had to be produced and “broadcasted” in real time which meant a lot of work and tight deadlines for me and the content team. But at the same time, it was the most amazing week and we had so many fun activities at the office with all colleagues. So I would definitely say that’s one of the highlights! “

What inspires and energizes you?
“My development and that I always strive to become better at what I do. But also my colleagues and how they’re all so passionate about the company and to help each other – it is impossible not to be affected by that energy!”
